Added the UK rating

[edit]

Added the UK Rating.. seemed a bit odd just having the USA rating of a British film (!!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.217.108.238 (talk) 18:34, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Poorly written

[edit]

Could someone who knows the film well maybe look into sorting out the grammar and general writing style of this article? It reads like it's been written by a 14 year old fan.77.97.83.150 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:22, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

done today -- see below — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.243.98.238 (talk) 06:07, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The movie's name

[edit]

I am still thinking about the possible meaning behind the name Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. What does 'Thongs' actually imply? Maybe someone should add informations on that into the article. Dreamback1116 (talk) 13:45, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The information is in the book articles, feel free to work it in to the lead or production. Darrenhusted (talk) 14:07, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Really? Why can't I find that? The book article is a stub. Dreamback1116 (talk) 11:07, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I added the meaning of the title because I, too, came here looking for it, and had to go look elsewhere. I found it on Amazon and put it in the article and included the reference. Please don't take this out unless you put something better in its place. N0w8st8s (talk) 11:22, 17 November 2012 (UTC)n0w8st8s[reply]
I edited article extensively today, referring to thongs and snogging in detail ( and wiki-linked, of course ), in addition to correcting plot details and chronology -- i watched the film three times earlier today, so if i got something wrong please tell my doctor ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.243.98.238 (talk) 05:23, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you possibly tell me why you deleted the section which explains the title? I and many others came to this page to understand the EXTREMELY OBSCURE title of this work. I and others entered that information so that it is readily accessible to the many folks who come here to find it. WHY DID YOU DELETE IT? Why did you substitute incorrect information? Here's what was deleted:

Title

According to the main character... Angus: My mixed-breed cat, half domestic tabby, half Scottish wildcat. The size of a small Labrador, only mad. Thongs: Stupid underwear. What's the point of them, anyway? They just go up your bum, as far as I can tell. Full-Frontal Snogging: Kissing with all the trimmings, lip to lip, open mouth, tongues ... everything.[1]

In explaining snogging, you put.....NOTHING but a link. The link takes the reader to FRENCH KISSING, NOT SNOGGING. The main character herself defines snogging, and it is NOT FRENCH KISSING. That's an error. Please reinstate the previous, properly sourced and important explanation of the Title references. Other than that aspect, the bulk of your contribution to this article is quite excellent and appreciated. N0w8st8s (talk) 03:30, 19 June 2013 (UTC)n0w8st8s[reply]

Sean Bourke

[edit]

The link to Sean Bourke doesn't go to the actor, but to somebody who died in 1982. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.11.221.81 (talk) 08:52, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel?

[edit]

when are they going to make a new angus thongs ??????????? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.216.151 (talk) 19:23, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging still a family film?

[edit]

Because there are some mild suggestive sexual references and some language, this film was rated PG-13. Even though it got that rating, it was still produced by Nickelodeon Movies. Does Nickelodeon Movies still make 'Angus, Thongs a family feature comedy film? (WikiFanCreator2010 (talk) 23:55, 8 June 2012 (UTC))[reply]

except for the most prudish of prudes, it's fine; a few quick flashes of butt-cheeks is as racy as it gets, and you'd see a lot more on most beaches or around backyard pools! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.243.98.238 (talk) 05:29, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"summary MAY be too long and detailed"?!

[edit]

Good honk, I think the summary of "War and Peace" is probably shorter. Could someone -- poor unfortunate soul -- who has sat through this movie please give us a tighter summary? two or three paragraphs would likely suffice. Lawikitejana (talk) 15:19, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
